Our Needs

Step into a place where every stone tells a story of hope.

This is the land of our foundation — still unfinished, yet already filled with dreams. Here, children laugh despite hardship, and every wall being built is a promise of love, safety, and a better tomorrow. Take a moment to see the ground where compassion grows. With your help, this place can become a true home. Even though we live in poverty, the children do their best to keep our home clean. They know that this place belongs to all of us. Together, we take responsibility for our foundation — not just the adults, but the children too. They understand that caring for what we have is part of building a better future.

Building the roof

Four of our buildings are still without roofs, leaving them unusable. Your support can help us provide safe shelter by completing their constructio

Windows and doors

Our next goal is to purchase windows and doors for all four buildings. This crucial step will protect the interiors from wind and rain and bring us closer to creating safe, livable spaces for the children.

Bunk beds

Our goal is to buy bunk beds to maximize space and give the children a comfortable place to sleep. But before that’s possible, we must first complete the basic structure—by adding roofs, windows, and doors to the buildings

Garden parcel

We dream of purchasing a small garden plot where we can grow our own vegetables and fruits. It would give us not only food, but also a sense of independence and dignity. On this land, we could also keep a few domestic animals, like a goat and some chickens. This would provide the children with fresh milk and eggs, and help us build a more self-sufficient and healthy way of living. Even a small piece of land can become a place of hope – a little step toward a better future for the children.

Food supplies

Our top priority is to secure a one-year supply of basic food items. We have already faced situations where we struggled to buy food due to a lack of funds. That’s why our goal is to raise enough money to cover an entire year’s worth of essential food supplies

Medical care

Medical care is a very important – and perhaps the most important – form of protection for the children after food. Every month we struggle with high medical expenses. The children do not have private health insurance. That’s why, whenever one of them faces health problems, we have to call a doctor and pay for each visit.

Electrical power connection

It is essential for us to connect electricity to our home so that the children can later use electrical devices for developmental purposes, such as a computer, television and so on. We live in a time where life without electricity is extremely difficult and backward

Education of our children

Some of our children have reached school age and deserve the chance to attend a proper school, even though it comes with a cost. We truly believe that education is one of the most important gifts we can give them — it opens the door to higher learning and a future career. If we are able to raise the necessary funds, it would mean a great deal to us. We would be both happy and deeply thankful for any support."

Personal hygiene items

Personal hygiene is very important for the children including regular use of soap, shampoo, and toothpaste Taking care of hygiene helps us prevent the spread of infectious diseases. That’s why we place great importance on ensuring that the children always have access to these essential items

Sewing machine and computer

Our secondary goal, once electricity is connected to the property, is to purchase 10 sewing machines and 10 computers. We dream of giving the older children the chance to learn practical skills that can shape their future. The girls will be taught how to sew, and the boys will learn how to use computers. By equipping them with these tools, we’re not only teaching them useful skills — we’re giving them hope, confidence, and the foundation for a better life

Two cars

The final item on our list of needs is two vehicles

One would be a bus for transporting the children, and the other a truck for carrying food and firewood. We need a lot of firewood to cook meals every day

BUDGET FOR THE BUILDING MATERIALS.
We would like to present our cost estimate for finishing one of the buildings. Thanks to the generous financial support of our donors, we have managed to construct four buildings, for which we are extremely grateful. We are now raising funds to complete their interior works. The cost estimate shown below applies to one building, and we have a total of four. To achieve this, we have organized a dedicated fundraising campaign to gather the full amount needed. Other donations are allocated to providing food for the children. The total cost of the 4 buildings is €14,000

Bunk beds

Our goal is to buy bunk beds to maximize space and give the children a comfortable place to sleep. But before that’s possible, we must first complete the basic structure—by adding roofs, windows, and doors to the buildings. At the same time, we are also raising funds to purchase bunk beds for our homes. Once the houses are completed with roofs and windows, we will immediately furnish them with beds. One bunk bed costs €120, and we need a total of 32 bunk beds, which will cost us €3,840. Having proper beds will mean that our children no longer have to sleep on the floor — they will finally have a safe and comfortable place to rest. Your support can help make this possible

The children do not have private health insurance. That’s why, whenever one of them faces health problems, we have to call a doctor and pay for each visit. On average, we spend €200 per month on medical care. That’s why we would like to raise more funds and secure an annual reserve of €2,400. This would allow us to always have money set aside for emergencies, as our children often fall ill. One of the most common problems is skin infections, caused by sleeping on the floor and the lack of mosquito nets to protect them from mosquito bites. Our children frequently fall ill with different types of infections. Many of our children regularly struggle with infections due to poor living conditions.

ELECTRICAL POWER CONNECTION
It is essential for us to connect electricity to our home so that the children can later use electrical devices for developmental purposes, such as a computer, television, and more. We live in a time where life without electricity is extremely difficult and limiting. The cost to connect electricity is 300 euro, and the monthly bill is approximately 20 euro. In total, we need around €500 to cover electricity for the entire year and ensure a stable environment for the children.

We would be both happy and deeply thankful for any support. Learning takes place directly at our foundation. We cover the costs of a teacher and educational materials. One semester, lasting three months, costs us €250. This means providing one child with a full year of education requires €1,000. Education is one of the most valuable gifts we can offer a child. With your support, we can open the door to a brighter future for them. Every contribution brings us closer to that goal.

One computer costs €250, so for ten computers we will need €2,500. One sewing machine costs up to €400. We aim to buy high-quality equipment, which is why we prefer to pay a bit more. The total cost for four sewing machines will be €1,600. Altogether, ten computers and four sewing machines will cost us approximately €4,100. This investment will allow the children to learn valuable skills that can shape their future. With your support, we can equip them with the tools they need to grow, create, and dream beyond limitations.

That’s why we place great importance on ensuring that the children always have access to these essential items. Each month, we spend around €150 on these essential items. Since they are used daily, they run out quickly. We would like to secure a full year's supply, which means we will need a total of €1,800. Any support toward this goal would be a great help and deeply appreciated.

Two cars

The final item on our list of needs is two vehicles. One would be a bus for transporting the children, and the other a truck for carrying food and firewood. We need a large amount of firewood every day to prepare meals for the children. We know this is a significant expense — the bus is estimated to cost around €11,000, and the truck approximately €7,000. In total, we will need about €18,000 to cover both vehicles. Sadly, this amount is far beyond what we can save from our regular income. Without outside help, it would take us many years — if ever — to afford them. That’s why we are reaching out to those who may feel called to help. With your support, we can take another big step forward in caring for the children.

Summary of all needs and the total amount of money required €57,440
We have presented to you all our main needs, which play a vital role in the proper functioning of our foundation and, most importantly, in improving the quality of life for the 63 children in our care.

It is clear that these needs remain ongoing due to a constant lack of funds. Any money we receive is immediately used to cover the children’s daily needs and respond to other urgent situations.

That is why we have launched a fundraising campaign to raise the full amount needed, as outlined in the sections above. By doing so, we aim to be transparent about how each donation will be used.

We would also like to inform you that each donor decides the amount they wish to give, and whether it will be a one-time donation or a recurring monthly contribution.

Even a small amount like €3 can make a meaningful difference. If a low contribution encourages many people to join our monthly subscription, together we can reach a much higher total – consistently, month after month.
